Welcome to the Your College Hockey Interview Series.

We will be running this all year long, so subscribe to our RSS feed to receive all the latest interviews on current hockey players and college hockey alumni.

We will have interviews from NCAA coaches, Minor Hockey coaches, parents and advisors in addition to current players and alumni. They will share their challenges and how they solved them. They will share their favourite memories and provide advice to help you through the process.

Kim McCullough, Dartmouth College alumnus, talks to YCH about her the challenges she faced during the recruiting process, how female hockey players should prepare to be a student-athlete, and she shares her favourite memories as a player. Currently, she is the Director and Founder of a company called Total Female Hockey.

Trevor Gilligan, Northwood School, talks to YCH about Prep School. He provides information about the prep school environment, shares advice on how to get into prep school, and talks about the prep school route to college hockey.

Daniel Bellissimo '07, Western Michigan University talks to YCH about his criteria for choosing a school, advice on staying focused and the importance and benefits of his family during the recruiting process. Daniel currently plays pro hockey in Italy and is also a member of the Italian National Team

Domenic Monardo '13, Forward from Lake Superior State hockey (CCHA). In his hockey interview, Domenic talks with YCH about the recruiting process, life as a college hockey player, and gives advice for junior and prep players for their pursuit of playing in the NCAA.

Brandon DeFazio '11, Forward from Clarkson University hockey (ECAC) talks with YCH about the recruiting process, life as a college hockey player, and gives advice for junior and prep players for their pursuit of playing in the NCAA.

Chris Haltigan '12, defensemen from RIT hockey (AHA) talks with YCH about the recruiting process, life as a college hockey player, and gives advice for junior and prep players for their pursuit of playing in the NCAA.

Derrell Levy, Oswego State University alumnus, talks to YCH about the preparation and proper training that Junior players should do during the season and in the off season to stay injury free. He also shares his college hockey experience with us. Currently, Derrell is the owner and Founder of Intech Hockey.

Joel Robillos from Top Shelf Sports Management talks with YCH about the Family Advisor and how the Family Advisor plays a role in the recruiting process.
